Overview

AJ Rassamni for Fresno City Council, District 7 began as an IS 187 capstone project in fall 2024. After graduation, Imaginarii was formed and brought on to run and work alongside the campaign's full digital and operational backbone through the 2026 race — website, brand, video, marketing, and search visibility — with the bilingual (English / Spanish) site live through the election cycle.

The brief

A community-rooted candidacy, “People Before Politics,” needed a credible, bilingual presence and the systems to run a real ground campaign on a lean, student-to-graduate timeline. It had to look legitimate, stay current week to week, and make it easy to recruit and coordinate volunteers.

What we did

  • Website — built and managed on Webflow (Meet AJ, Accomplishments, Latest News, Support), with an auto-updating news module, volunteer and endorsement capture, and ongoing content, navigation, and imagery updates. Fully bilingual (English / Spanish).
  • Brand & identity — logo and visual identity for the campaign.
  • Video & marketing — campaign videography and marketing content.
  • Search & analytics — weekly Ahrefs SEO reporting, competitor tracking, and backlink disavow; Google Search Console, Analytics, AdSense, and Workspace admin.
  • Strategy — weekly strategy meetings and planning across the cycle.

How it started

The engagement grew out of an IS 187 capstone in fall 2024 — from a group class assignment to Imaginarii running the candidate's digital and website operations through the campaign cycle.

Outcome

Imaginarii delivered a complete, bilingual campaign presence and the operational systems behind it — website, brand, video, search, and a volunteer program — run end to end from the capstone in 2024 through the 2026 race end.
