The project
PulseLogs is an operational platform from PulseIQ for organizations that deliver care: counseling practices, independent medical practices and coaching organizations. It brings scheduling, intake, documentation, billing, communication, reporting, telehealth and claims into one connected system. We designed and built the marketing site that explains it, from the homepage through a page for each audience.
The challenge
- Three audiences, one product. A counselor, a clinic manager and a coaching founder feel the same operational drag but describe it in different words.
- Trust before features. Buyers handle protected health information, so HIPAA readiness, encryption and audit logs had to show up early without turning the page into a compliance sheet.
- Showing connection. The core idea is that the functions talk to each other. A feature list cannot show that.
- A portable build. The client planned to host the final site on WordPress, so the design could not depend on framework-only styling.
The homepage
The homepage opens on a navy hero with the line "Your practice isn't broken. Your system is." Beside it, the eight functions orbit a PulseLogs core. An EKG trace runs beneath the proof row and lights each module in sequence, and a warm strip below lists HIPAA-ready infrastructure, encryption in transit and at rest, audit-ready activity logs and BAAs.
One connected system
The model section makes the main argument visually. Scheduling, intake, documentation, billing, communication, reporting, telehealth and claims sit as numbered stops on a single EKG line, with the wider capability list underneath. The pulse motif ties the brand mark, the section breaks and the product story together.
A page for each audience
Counseling, Medical and Coaching each get a headline in that audience's own words, a framed view of the product with live status chips, and sections built for their problem. Medical shows clinical time draining into admin and a cascade of hidden costs. Coaching adds a scalability bar and a grid of the programs it is built for. An About page tells the company story as an editorial before and after, and privacy and terms pages share one layout with a scroll-tracking table of contents.
Built to move
Each page follows one pattern: content in typed data files, sections as components, and a scoped stylesheet in plain CSS with custom properties. There is no utility framework or CSS-in-JS, so the styles and class names can move to a WordPress theme unchanged, and we wrote the port plan to match. Every route prerenders as a static page. A performance pass cut the font payload and eased image contention on the hero, animations stand down for visitors who prefer reduced motion, and a mobile pass removed horizontal overflow.
Where it stands
The site went through two rounds of client feedback against a high-fidelity checklist. The engagement paused before launch, so the work is shown here from its preview deployment and there are no production numbers to report.
